Dear Diary, In form and function both, they seem quite odd, the circumstances under which I have decided to maintain you. That I choose to call you a diary would feel a bit baffling and even confusing to those who read you, because you are not one in the first place. You are not inclusively reserved for my reading but are available like an open book to be savoured (or to reflect upon) by readers, perhaps from all walks of life and all of them different from mine, because you, basically, are a… blog, so to say. I don’t know if there is any clarity of perspective from my side as well, but the fact remains that I believe in you. Then again, I believe in so many things and overassess so many aspects of my life, but for you, the fingers are definitively crossed. Through you, I will take your observers and readers on a journey through the private chambers of my life, albeit not in a social-media or perhaps not in a conversational sort of way.
